To get started with Welcomessage, you’ll need to connect both your LinkedIn and Welcomessage accounts using our Chrome Extension. Follow the steps below to set it up quickly:
First, ensure you are using Google Chrome and install the Welcomessage Chrome Extension from the Chrome Web Store.
🔗 Download the Welcomessage Chrome Extension
After installing the extension, it will automatically open both the LinkedIn and Welcomessage login pages.
Log in to both platforms if you haven’t already. If you’re already logged in, simply proceed to the next step.
Once logged in:
Reopen the Welcomessage Chrome Extension.
The extension will sync with both your LinkedIn and Welcomessage accounts.
If the sync is successful, the status for both LinkedIn and Welcomessage will turn Green.
🎉 Congrats! You’re now connected and ready to automate LinkedIn messaging!
To use LinkedIn accounts of your team members:
Go to the "Senders" tab on your Dashboard.
Invite the person to join your team in Welcomessage.
They will need to follow the same steps outlined above.
Optionally, you can send an invitation email with instructions to connect their LinkedIn account.
Occasionally, your connection to LinkedIn or Welcomessage may expire. If this happens, simply reopen the Chrome Extension to re-sync your accounts and restore the connection.
Note: If you encounter any issues during the setup or the sync fails, ensure:
You are using Google Chrome or another browser that supports Chrome Extensions.
You are logged into both LinkedIn and Welcomessage.
Reopen the extension and try syncing again.
