Getting Started with Welcomessage on Zapier

To begin automating your LinkedIn messaging workflows with Zapier and Welcomessage, follow these steps.

Step 1: Install the Welcomessage Zapier App

Start by installing the Welcomessage Zapier app via the link below:

• Click the Accept Invite button to install the app.

Step 2: Create a New Zap

After installing the app, go to your Zapier dashboard and click Create a Zap.

For this example, we'll set up an automation that sends a LinkedIn message when someone books a call through Cal.com to improve the show-up rate.

Step 3: Set Up the Trigger

1. App: In the Zap editor, select Cal.com as the trigger app.

2. Trigger Event: Choose the Booking Created trigger event.

3. Connect Your Account: Follow the prompts to connect your Cal.com account.

4. Test the Trigger: Ensure your trigger is working properly by fetching a recent event from Cal.com.

Step 4: Set Up the Action

1. Action App: Select the Welcomessage app installed earlier.

2. Action Event: Choose Send Message as the action event.

3. Connect Your Account: Click Sign In to connect your Welcomessage account. A new window will open asking for your API Key.

   • You can find your API key in your Welcomessage dashboard. If you need help locating it, refer to our documentation on getting your API Key.

   • After entering your API Key, click Yes, Continue to Welcomessage.

Step 5: Configure the Action

1. Campaign ID: Enter the ID of the campaign you want to use for sending messages. You can find the Campaign ID in your Welcomessage dashboard.

2. Fill in Parameters: Customize your message and fill in the necessary fields using the parameters according to this screenshot.

3. Press Continue: After you’ve filled in the details, press Continue to proceed.

Step 6: Activate Your Automation

After testing and confirming that everything works correctly, click Finish to activate your Zap.

🎉 Congrats! Your automation is now live! Whenever someone books a meeting on your Cal.com account, a personalized LinkedIn message will automatically be sent to the recipient via Welcomessage. Cool, right?

Step 7: Monitor Your Events

You can check the status of your automation by returning to your Welcomessage Dashboard. Go to the Events Page, and you should see the incoming events listed in real time.

By following these steps, you'll have a fully functional Zap that integrates Cal.com with Welcomessage to enhance your outreach and engagement automatically.
