To begin automating your LinkedIn messaging workflows with Make and Welcomessage, follow these steps.
Start by installing the Welcomessage Zapier app via the link below:

Click the Install button to install the app.
Select organization and Click Install Button
After installing the app, go to your Make dashboard and create a new Scenario.
For this tutorial, weβll use the following use case: "When a new customer signs up on Stripe, I want to send them a LinkedIn message thanking them for their subscription."
App: For the first app in the scenario, select Stripe as the trigger app.
Trigger Event: Create a webhook for the Customer Created event.
Connect Your Stripe Account: Follow the steps to connect your Stripe account and select the Customer group and event type Customer Created.
Save the Webhook: Once the trigger is configured, save it.
App: For the second app in the scenario, search for Welcomessage and select the Send Message action.
Connect Your Welcomessage Account:
When prompted, connect your Welcomessage account using your API Key. You can find instructions on how to get your API Key from your dashboard here.
Create Your Campaign:
Create a new campaign in Welcomessage with the message tailored to your use case. For example: "Hello #first_name, just saw you subscribed on Welcomessage. Let me know if you need any help!"
Campaign ID: Enter the Campaign ID from the campaign you just created. You can find instructions on locating your Campaign ID here.
Map Stripe Events:
Use the Stripe event fields to map the necessary parameters for the message, such as email, first name, and last name.
Save the Scenario: Once all the parameters are configured, save your scenario.
Enable the Scenario: Donβt forget to enable your scenario once the setup is complete.
Test the Setup: To test the scenario, you can subscribe to a service on your Stripe account, which should trigger the Customer Created event. In this example, i will subscribe to a Welcomessage plan.
Check Your Scenario History: Go to the Make Scenario History tab to ensure the event was successfully triggered.
Verify in Welcomessage:
Go to your Welcomessage dashboard and check the Events Tab to confirm that the message was sent.
π Congrats! Your automation is now live! Whenever a new customer is created on your Stripe account, a personalized LinkedIn message will automatically be sent to the recipient via Welcomessage. Cool, right?
